Cheesy Rabbit Potatoes (serves 4-6)

1 lb.                        ground rabbit


6                              large potatoes thinly sliced


1                              onion

10 oz.                    284 mL  condensed cheese soup

¼ cup                    60 mL milk or water

¼ cup                    60 mL real bacon bits


1 cup                     250 mL  grated cheddar cheese


Spread uncooked thinly sliced potatoes in a greased 9 x 13 inch (22 x 33 cm) glass backing dish.


In a mixing bowl stir soup, milk or water, onion and bacon bits together and then pour over thinly sliced potatoes.


Arrange ground rabbit meat over mixture.  Bake covered at 350º F (175º C) for 1½ hours, uncover and spread grated cheese over dish and then cook for another 20 minutes or until done.
